Day 37

I have not been hitting it as har as I need to, but it us on now. I have not gained, but stoppe loosing. I am going to drop down to 238 lbs by the end I the month. I put a punching bag up in the garage and that is going to be my workout, which has been the missing link to me loosing weight.

I am know how to maintain weight. I hve done it for two years. But it is time to loose the final 35. So I will be mor regular in my posts and thanks for all the support.

Day 20 - 245.4 lbs

Sorry it has been a while since my last post. I was sick all last week and didn't take the energy to keep this up, but I am back now. 245.4 lbs. Not bad considering I did not try to hard last week. I suppose at the rate I am loosing, I will reach my goal of 217 by August, but I would like so bigger number soon.

Day 18 - 245.7 lbs

It's working. 7 of 35 lbs. A fifth of the way there. The 240's have been the hardest to break through. I hope one I do the 30's and 20's will be easier. We will see.

Ok I worked out yesturday and that s the key. I am going to buckle down on all of my rules. No soda, no food after 8pm, 1600 cals a day. I want to be down to 242 lbs b Friday. I think I can do it.

Day 14 - 248.8

Well this has been a busy week to say the least. I was down to 246.6 yesterday, but had a late dinner so I think the scale was higher than if I would have slept in and lay the food digest. I realize that working out is the key. I did not do it at all this week. Starting Monday I am going to hit it with the work outs.

That's what I am talking about!!! Almost 5 lbs now. Only 30 lbs to go. I feel good!

ate dinner at mom and dads. Chicken, rice, veggies, salad, peanuts and grapefruit juice. Total of 800 cals or so

I know weight goes up and down, but I thought I would make it more than three days before I hit a wall. Oh well. I know it is a journey and not just a week.

Food today:
Breakfast sandwitch from coffee shop - 500 cal
Subway footlong turkey and ham on flatbread - 660 cal

Yogurt and cereal - 300 cal
Pinapple - 50 cal
Bear claw ice cream and nuts - 170 cal


Worked out 30 minutes at the gym. Used a couple different machines, not sure how many cals burned. Probably 400 or so.

Day 2 248.6 lbs

248.6 lbs today. That means I was in bad shape to lose 3 lbs in a day. This week should be encouraging with good weight loss, but then the hard yards start.

Yesterday I pulled a muscle in my shoulder blade. I can't believe I did something like the right off the bat. I will go to the gym and sit on a bike for my workout. I think that will be easier for me. I will be updating this post throughout the day.

I weighed 251.6 lbs today

Ran 2 miles in 24:10 outside using Nike + ipod
Burned 372 calories

I am going to workout at least 5 days a week and eat 1600 calories per day with one free day of 2200 calories. It may change up later but for now this is why it will be.

Throughout the day I will edit the daily blog entry with updates on what I eat and workouts.

Day 1

I'm turning 31 next month and my wife is expecting a little girl in 140 days. I am using this blog as a motivation to loose my final 35 lbs and reach my goal of 217 lbs.

Five years ago I was 322 lbs and have already lost 70 lbs, but the final 35 lbs to my goal of 217 lbs has been the greatest struggle. For the past two years I have fluctuated between 240 and 250 lbs.

Today I weigh 251.6 lbs and at the end of it I will reach my goal and take a picture with my new born baby looking great. I have always wanted a picture with a my tiny little baby on my arm while I look ripped. I guess there is only one thing to do.

Everyday I will post what I ate, how much I exercised and try to document all the things it will take to reach my goal 35 lbs in 140 days.
